2019 UCI World Road Championships

In 2019, we were contracted as event consultants on the UCI World Road Championships in Yorkshire.

The event was unparalleled in terms of its complexity, with different start locations on each of the 9 days of competition, as well as a central hub in Harrogate including a Fan Zone which hosted a programme of concerts, opening and closing ceremonies as well as extensive sponsor and partner activation.

We worked as Yorkshire 2019 Silver in the multi agency Event Control room co-ordinating all agencies and emergency services under extremely challenging weather conditions which brought into play several contingency plans.
