From 2007 – 2010, we helped set up and deliver the UK’s first ever closed road cyclo sportive.
Providing Operations Management, Route Safety Management and Logistical support, we helped establish the Etape Caledonia as a UK bucket list event from scratch.
Throughout our involvement, we provided all operations and route management, all contractors and site build, managed all business and resident communications, managed a team of 30 staff and more than 200 volunteers
We provided management of the route risk assessments and safety overseeing the timely installation and extraction of Traffic Management infrastructure, standard operating procedures and safety principles for participants, public and event staff
We conducted and wrote a full turn by turn Route Risk Assessment, then ensured mitigations were in place at the event
