Feasibility Studies
We worked with a client to discuss their project, help them understand the technical requirements, help them budget, help them to put together a management structure and jointly appraise the feasibility of what they wanted to do. We then conducted site visits to check the venue and route was appropriate.
Leading a Project
Having fulfilled Event Director and Head of Operations roles at some of the world’s largest live sports events, we can bring this level of experience and know-how to your event. This can mean overall project management, or leading project teams to deliver a specific element of your event.
Race Director
We have fulfilled Race Director roles for many of the world’s largest live sports events across triathlon, running, cycling and endurance swimming. Having worked at major multi-sport Games and many top level world sport competitions, we have excellent experience of working with International and National Federations as key stakeholders in the delivery of the sport competition.
Venue and Site Production
Having managed temporary venues and worked on a number of large and extremely complex venues with numerous stakeholders and contractors, we know how to expertly manage your site build for your event. We will manage your contractors, oversee site health and safety, manage a build schedule and deliver a superb finish. We are solution driven people – we will not come to you with problems! Stakeholder Engagement and Management
Putting your event on requires you to work with Stakeholders who can make or break a great event and will provide you with the licences and permissions you need. Heading up numerous major projects has given us the knowledge and experience of setting up, leading and managing ongoing multi-agency processes, including negotiation with regards to land and road use, health and safety and the support of the emergency services. We can help you set up and efficiently manage what can be a minefield of potential issues.
Route and Traffic Management
Having managed hundreds of closed road events, we at Taylor Made Event Management have the knowledge and experience to manage your route from top to bottom. We can manage your road closures, your route safety, your contractors and your competition logistics. We are a one stop shop to help you manage all aspects of your route for your event.
Experienced, qualified and insured event risk assessors
Everyone at Taylor Made Event Management is trained and qualified to the internationally recognised standards of The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). We have written the Route Risk Assessments for major international sporting events including London Olympic 2012 – Triathlon, Tour de France – Grand Depart, World Triathlon Series – Grand Final and UCI Velothon Wales.
